협동과정 의료정보학전공은의료정보의 수집, 축적, 활용에 필요한 다양한 지식을 함양하고, 최신 정보 처리 기술을 적극 활용하는 의료정보 분야의 전문가를 양성하며, 이를 통해 보건의료 지식정보처리 기술의 발전을 선도한다.

목표

협동과정 의료정보학전공은임상의학과 기초의과학분야의 방대하고 복잡한 의료정보의 수집과 처리 및 응용에 관한 정보학적 이론,컴퓨터공학적 방법,임상의학 및 기초의과학적응용을 위한 다학제적 통합 교과과정을 제공하여 고급인력을 양성하고, 학제간 융합연구를 촉진하여 의학의 발전과 인류의 건강증진에 기여한다.
